October 22nd: Neighborhood FHE Groups

This week for FHE we will be having neighborhood FHE Groups and will not be meeting at the church.  We found a few hosts around the city.  You are free to choose who’s house you attend.  Below are the hosts and the recommended neighborhoods for each. 

Emily Foster's House (Sunset District)

1325 Kirkham St (between 17th and 18th)

This is recommended for people who live in the Sunset, Richmond, Presidio Districts.

Jessica Ellenburg’s House (Glen Park)

37 Joost Ave

This is a block away from 280 and a block away from Bart, so easy to get to from Downtown if you work late or live there.  This is recommended for people who live in Mission, Downtown, SOMA, Bearnal Heights, Noe Valley, and Potrero Hill.

Jordan Wight’s House (West Portal)

271 Kensington Way

This is recommended for people who live in Twin Peaks, St. Francis Wood, Haight Ashbury, Cole Valley West Portal, and the Castro.

October 15th: FHE at the Bishop's House - bring your musical talents

We are in for a treat this week!  The Hansen's have opened up their home for FHE.  Meet at 7 pm at the church to carpool, or 7:30 at Bishop's house. If you are able to provide rides, please meet at the church first.

Short Program:

Opening prayer will likely be 3 year old Andy McCallister, our grandson.  He won’t let anyone else pray.

Short Lesson:  Mason McCallister, age 8.  We think he is up for it.  He asks very good questions in his lessons, so be ready.

Activity:  Talent Show and Pillow Concert Sing-along

Bring your guitars and ukuleles or kazoos or Jew’s harps.  We think that Andy and Mason, their parents, and Sister Hansen will perform “Spooky Spat,” a Halloween song.  It is likely that we will all join is on some of the other hymns of the Restoration such as “Popcorn Poppin’ on the ApricotTree,” “Once There Was A Snowman” (all three verses), etc.  But, we also want to hear from everyone else who wants to contribute.  Bring a pillow to sit on.  

Closing prayer will likely be 3 year old Andy McCallister, our grandson (if he is still up). He won’t let anyone else pray.

This will be a blessing to gather together and have more fun.  Everyone is invited, including non-member or less active friends.

October 8th: Poetry Reading

There once was a ward in the city.

October 1st: Pictionary

Show of your speed drawing skills and enjoy some treats with the ward!

September 24th: Beach Bonfire

Come enjoy making s'mores while watching the sunset!  Meet at stairwell 17 on Ocean Beach at 7:30pm!

September 17th: Family Feud

Survey Says?  Come to FHE this week to see how well you do in a friendly face-off competition.

September 10th: Volleyball

School has started once again, which means team sports are back on. Come join a team this Monday and show off your spiking skills.

September 3rd: Labor Day

FHE is cancelled due to the Holiday.  Enjoy the Holiday with your friends.

August 20th: Human Battleship

Come enjoy the game you played during childhood, with a slightly different spin.

August 13th: Human Mario Kart

 Lets get to popping!!! Every person will tie balloons to their feet and try and pop the others.  Last one with balloons wins!

July 30th: Olympics Games

2012 Olympic Games!! We're going to do some mini olympic games at the church building in celebration of the Olympics :)

July 23rd: Sardines Hide & Seek

Thought Hide & Seek couldn't get anymore creative! Well we're here to prove it can....we present Sardine Hide & Seek! Come join us at FHE and find out what it's all about!!! :)

July 16th: Sand Castles on Ocean Beach!

We didn't forget you artsy people! It's time to show off your madd skills and build some amazing sand castles on Ocean Beach. Summer's not passing by us without this opportunity of being once again at the beach! We will also have a bonfire going for those who just want to munch and watch!

**We will meet at Pier 17 at Ocean Beach. Please bring any tools to contribute to building sand castles, as some will be provided :) See you then!!

July 9th: Human Guess Who?

Human Guess Who? All you gotta have are the right questions, a Yes or No question. Does your person have red or blonde hair? Does your person have a beard or mustache? Be careful how you throw around "or" or "and", they can mean 2 different things.

July 2nd: Strawberrylicous Shortcake!

As we start the new month of July, we are going to learn how to make Strawberry Shortcake....YUM!!! For the celebration of 4th of July, we wish everyone a beautiful independence celebration! Come make some amazing and simple dessert with us :)

June 25th: Bonfire Night!!

Enjoy some yummy s'mores while listening to some good music all along a warm bonfire at Ocean beach :D That's the way every end of the month should be spent! Remember to dress Cozy, as it gets really windy and chilly at Ocean beach. Bring your blankets if you'd like and come enjoy the sunset!

June 18th: Obstacle Courses

Lets bring out your competitive side! Learn to work in teams and beat all the obstacle courses set forth. It'll definitely be a fun night to get to know with whomever your set up with and work in teams to get from point A to point B :) See you Monday evening!

Past Event-May 21st: Roll the Dice :)

Come join us at the Durret's Home for FHE- We will be playing a game called "Roll the Dice"-filled with much anticipation as the objective is to roll the lucky 7 to get the chance to open up the box filled with a SURPRISE!

Past Event May 16th: Spelling Bee Night

Who says Spelling Bee aren't fun? Do you have what it takes? Well, lets put your mind to the test :) We're going to divide into teams and get words cracking! It'll be a night of b-o-i-s-t-e-r-o-u-s-n-e-s-s!!!

Past Event May 7th: Human Foosball

On Monday, May 7th we will be playing Human Foosball! Come to the church wearing your sports attire (if you so desire) and prepare to have a ball by kicking the ball.
